Shall I go?

1 Samuel 23:2 ” he inquired of the Lord”

It is so good to see a great leader asking God for guidance, David was seeking to God’s will in every step, more important than attack the Philistines is to make sure he is doing God’s will.

May God be always in our decisions. That we never forget to ask Him what we should do, big steps or small steps, He must be the Leader, the guidance, and we shall ever obey his commands.

God help us to remember to asking you for directions in every single decision of our life.Be you the king, and reign forever in me.

It is going to be a GOD day.

make good out of bad

1 Samuel 22

David obeyed God and went to Judah. The priests of that place were all killed by King Saul.

The life with God it is not always with good moments (on earthly perspective), there is grieving but God can make out of bad, good things. Let the word of God be our truth as is written in Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Have a wonderful day,

Strength, Do you want some?

Hi Friends,

1Samuel 11:6,  When Saul heard their words, the Spirit of God came powerfully upon him, and he burned with anger.

There we are, the first Saul’s task as a king. Saul got the strength from God and guide Israel, as God planned and the Israelite’s enemies fall.

There is only one way to have the power of the Spirit of God in us, and it is truly believing that Jesus Christ, son of God,  came to earth to be the living sacrifice to reconnect us with God.

Once we believe and accept this true in our lives, start a new beginning, a long and beautiful process of restoration and sanctification, peace and strength.  A path the brings joy and peace.

May you have this divine appointment with Jesus today,

Have a wonderful day,

Luci

Direct your Heart

1 Samuel 7:3 “ commit yourselves to the Lord and serve Him only

Hi Friends,
1Samuel 7 is the chapter where the Israelites obey what Samuel said and served the God only. Samuel interceded, Israelites fasted and confessed they have sinned against God.
Repentance and reconciliation.
Restauration and Peace.

We should trust the Lord, ask him in prayers what we want, He will not always give us what we want but sometimes he does. We should pray for him about everything and trust he has the best.

We should fast, confess and intercede.

We should do our part,

PRAYER MATTERS

A pause…

Good Morning Friends,

Some people are asking me why I am writing these posts, why are you blogging?
Well, for many years I have my chair time and it has been one of the most wonderful time with God. I get my prayer journal, my notebook, a pen or multiple pens :), and my bible and for 20 minutes I read, pray and meditate on the bible.
When I was reading my old notebooks I realised that I should put them on a digital file and many times re-reading those notes I got so inspired again in how God works in my life;  how I changed, how my faith has grown. I thought that maybe have friends who can be inspired, encouraged, challenged when read these texts, and so I did this blog.

Why those posts are short and straight to the bible text? Because I value your time and your commitments.

My prayer is that as you ready this blog you be blessed, inspired and transformed by the power of the word of God.

Have a wonderful day,

Luci,

Obedient and Faithful

Good Morning Friends,

1 Samuel 1:24 “After he was weaned, she took the boy with her, young as he was, along with the three years old bull, an ephah of flour and a skin of wine, and brought him to the house of the Lord at Shilon.”

After Hannah has been through, she took the courage to bring her baby Samuel, what an obedient and faithful woman of God. Obedient and selfless, she gave Samuel back to the Lord.
Hannan has to trust God and His provisions.

How hard that must been! Motherhood and trusting that your kid will be protected.

May God give us the same desire to pray, praise and obey as his servant Hannah did.

Many Blessings,

Luci

Let’s speak from Our Heart

Good Morning Friends,woman-praying-silhoutte

The book of 1 Samuel chapter 1

Verse 13 “As she kept on praying to the Lord, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard.”

Hannah did not cry out loud, she didn’t make a dramatic scene. In fact, she never said a word out loud. She spoke from her heart. She knew that God could hear it there. She has FAITH and TRUST that God would hear the desires of her heart.

I pray that our FAITH will be so strong that in times of need we will face the difficulties and will cry before God and speak from our heart, He hears us, we TRUST  on an Almighty God who loves and cares about us.

The book of Mattew chapter 9 verses 27-29, tell us that two blind men followed Jesus asking for mercy, Jesus asked: Do you believe that  I am able to do this? “Yes, Lord”  they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said: ” According to your faith will it be done to you.”

Imagine if they didn’t have faith?
Imagine if we don’t have faith…

And remember, today is a God’s day,
