Good Morning Friends!
Today we start to dig in the book of 1 Samuel chapter 1 and three verses speak to my heart and of course; I will not miss the opportunity to share them here, so waste no more time, Here we go!
Verse 15 ” Not so, my Lord, Hannah replied, I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the Lord,”
After all that Hannah was going through, she keeps her trust in God. Her honesty and open heart asking God with humility and insurance that God can do anything.
Reflecting on this attitude how many times we pour out our soul to God? Been completely honest. Been vulnerable to God, no masks, no walls, no excuses, completely surrendered. How many time we don’t pour out our soul to God, we stay quiet and accept the possible circumstance just because We don’t believe that God can do anything. In the book of James chapter 4, Paul talks about it and says “You do not have, because you do not ask to God. When you ask , you do not receive because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” James 4:2-3
I pray that God guides us and Help us to act as we should. I pray that our chair time been an encounter with God to refresh us, to teach us, and to bring glory to Him.
And remember today is a God day!
